TBD Conference 2019
Case Study
If you’re given an opportunity to announce your brand at a conference, what do you do?
The opposite of what everyone else is doing of course
We challenged our students to design a launch like no other - the crazier the better. A group of first-year students came up with the idea of an office chair race with the conference delegates as contestants. With high stakes in Health and Safety regulations and a lot of luck the Studio KT1 Curling World Championship was born.
Unbelievably it worked. We had execs from LinkedIn, Universal Music and Deliveroo lining up to take their chances.
We were lucky that TBD got Studio KT1 and vice versa. The students involved designed, installed and manned the stand attending a conference that usually commands a £600 fee.
Magic.
"I was really impressed and proud to have Studio KT1 be a part of TBD. The creativity was not just impressive, but better than large agency creatives I have worked with over the years. Fresh perspectives, brief-pushing work - you are creating the next generation of groundbreaking creatives"
