Christmas Markets @ Bentall Centre
Overview
Every year since 2019, we have been given vacant units in the Bentall Centre for December as part of their Christmas Wonderland season. Studio KT1 curates pop up stalls, where KSA students from a range of courses sell their handmade, designed items to the public.
In 2023, we also worked with Cass Art and Blackline to commission a custom 6 meter mural illustration, done by Illustration Animation student Jadwiga Ligeza.
Students from all levels and ranging from Graphics, to Product Design and Illustration Animation and Fine Art come together for 3 weekends of December every year.
There are also workshops run by students, including hands-on making a Christmas Paper Village, Christmas Lanterns, Custom Fabric Printing, Lino and Monotype printed Christmas card.
